Laboratory Manager

Laboratory Manager

The Laboratory Manager organizes and controls all aspects of the laboratory environment. They supervise general workflow, professional customer service and the maintenance and general mechanical repair of testing equipment. They oversee quality control, pricing, lab purchasing, and the day-to-day running of the lab. The Laboratory Manager is in charge of ensuring results of the highest quality, the lab manager creates systems to monitor data quality and performance. Laboratory Manager also confirms that procedures adhere to safety and compliance rules and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field. Hands-on prior experience with chemical/material processing or testing and test method development.
  • Hands-on experience with chemical processing/lab equipment.
  • Candidate should have a good understanding and demonstrated application of technical and problem solving skills in the area of quality control and laboratory management.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
